Florence Elementary held a 4K PACT activity for parents and students. 4K teacher, Mrs. Wolf read the students a story about colors, and the students were able to paint an umbrella with watercolors! PACT activities are a great way to prepare students for school, and for parents to meet one another. UW Extension and the Florence Elementary PTO were also represented to provide parents with resources.

BOBCAT BUILDERS
By: Lilliann W.
Bobcat Builders is a club about building and constructing with K'Nex pieces. Mr. Walstrom runs the club. He is a 4th grade teacher, and he's been working here for 25 years! Mr. Walstrom said that he decided to make his club about building because it is kind of science related, and he thought it would be cool if he taught a bit of science too!
Pictured above are students in the Bobcat Builder’s Club this quarter: Lexi, Bo, Kyle, Ian, Kelsi, Jack, Eva, Breyer, James and Raiden.
